Understanding the Importance of Sampradaya
To truly know oneself, one must learn from a teacher. And to know the teacher is to understand their lineage. This lineage — known as Sampradaya — is the living tradition through which knowledge is passed. When a teaching is rooted in a Sampradaya, it carries with it the blessings and authenticity of generations of realized teachers.
